Critical Framing

"Invite children to make a decision."

Garfield Gini Newman  2:28 min.

Critical Framing requires the educator to ask critical thinking questions to challenge students to go beyond recall, to be reflective and consider their environment.  To maximize learning, students need overt instruction in conjunction with critical thinking practice. Students are actively redesigning their understanding by analytically considering different perspectives, alternative solutions, and responding to critical thinking questions.
